Jumbo Iced Tea Employee Logistics

DO NOT PURCHASE AN OHIO STATE FAIR ENTRANCE PASS UPON ARRIVAL.  You will not be reimbursed for your pass unless approved by a Team Lead or higher. 

• Car Pooling

  • Jumbo Iced Tea prefers that you carpool when possible.  The buddy system of sharing a ride, driving, arriving, and departing together is good practice.  This keeps logistic issues to a minimum.

  • Car pooling is not coordinated via Jumbo Iced Tea.  You must make your own arrangements; one option is via the When I Work app.

• Arrival Time

  • Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled shift.

• Arrival Options:

• Drop Off/Pick Up Option:

  • If you are being dropped off and/or picked up before or after your shift,

    • Gate 1, The Cardinal Gate at 17th Street exit, is the recommended drop off location and has the largest parking area between the soccer stadium and fair.  Parking if free for 2023.

    • Gate 8, The Ohio Gate, on 11th Street, has no parking, but is an easy location for pickup & drop off. 

  • Before you are dropped off, notify the Team Lead or higher that you’ve arrived, and can proceed to your work location on the fairgrounds.

• Parking Option:

  • Once entering any of the OSF parking lots, parking attendants will navigate you to an available parking location.  You will walk to Gate 1 (Cardinal Gate) to enter the fair.

• Event Pass

  • You can/will receive your event pass prior to your work shift via:

    • Please notify the scheduling manager if you have not received your entrance passes in advance.  They will arrive 1-2 days prior to your shifts.

    • At your arrival gate prior to your shift
